Settings and Data
Open Me for appearance, the Tavern asset library, preferences, and data management. This guide explains each section and what it does.
Appearance and themes
- Open Me → Appearance & themes. More than 30 built-in theme variants plus sideloaded custom themes appear in the picker; tapping one applies it globally.
- A custom theme is a
.fvtheme.jsonfile. Format details are in the Theme format spec; the easiest approach is to have Agent generate it directly. - App font size, dynamic portraits, icon style, and mascot dress-up live here too. Reader typography/theme remains separate inside Reader settings.
Tavern asset library
Open Me → Advanced settings → Character Cards & Tavern → Tavern Asset Hub. Imported SillyTavern assets are managed by type:
| Type | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Character cards | View all fields, edit, export, and start chat directly from a card |
| Worldbooks | View and edit entries one by one, bind them to worlds or chats |
| Prompt presets | View preset content and injection-order summary |
| Regex scripts | View/toggle, with display layer and prompt-feed layer separated |
| Quick Reply | Manage button groups, including STscript content |
| Persona | Add, delete, and edit your identity cards |
| Attachments / render profiles | Chat attachments and WebView render compatibility profiles |
Generated media is separate: Me → Advanced settings → Reading → Gallery aggregates book illustrations, roleplay images/moment cards, Companion photos, VN backgrounds, and comic pages. Viewing the Gallery is local and free; generating the assets was a separate model call.
Tavern preferences
- Open Me → Common → Tavern global settings for global rendering, prompt, sampling, context, worldbook, and regex defaults. In a chat, ⋮ → Chat settings switches among Global, This character, and This chat; the narrower layer wins.
- Me → Common → Import from SillyTavern handles files/folders, links, chat history, and backup zips. Me → Advanced settings → Character Cards & Tavern → SillyTavern starter guide explains the migration path.
Data and account
- Local-first: books, cards, and chat history are stored on device first. AI calls send only the context you selected to the provider you chose.
- Export: chat history can be exported by session; Companion profile has Export companion backup; character cards can export JSON or PNG. Full library backup is under Me → Advanced settings → Data and requires Pro.
- Secrets: full-library/Companion backups do not replace provider-console access. Re-enter BYOK keys on the destination; never copy device-bound encrypted preference or keystore files.
- Delete: account deletion is available in Settings and at the public web path, with no need to contact support.
- The changelog is under Me → Advanced settings → About → Changelog; Settings search can open it even while advanced sections are collapsed.
