This Privacy Policy explains how Foreverse collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Foreverse mobile app and related web services. Foreverse is a reader-first AI companion for long fiction, designed around bring-your-own-key (BYOK) workflows and on-device story data.

What we collect

Account information, such as email address, display name, login provider, and session records.
Purchase and entitlement records needed to provide Foreverse Pro and device activation limits.
Device information used for account security, device activation, app version, and support diagnostics.
Content report information when you report AI-generated content for review.
Technical logs needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.

Story content and AI providers

Foreverse is designed around local reading and story workflows. Story files, branches, characters, places, and lore live on device. When you call AI with a bring-your-own-key provider, your prompts and the relevant story context are sent to that provider so the request can be processed. Third-party providers process the request under their own policies and pricing.

Foreverse does not silently route BYOK requests through a proxy. The provider that processes your request is the one named next to that continuation in the reader.

How we use information

To create and secure your account.
To send email verification codes and service messages.
To verify purchases, restore entitlements, and enforce device limits.
To receive and process safety reports about AI-generated content.
To comply with legal, security, and platform requirements.

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate Foreverse, such as email delivery, hosting, payment verification, analytics, or the AI providers you choose.

Website analytics

On this website (foreverse.app and foreverse.cn, including the store pages) we collect anonymous usage statistics — page views, referrers, clicks on download and purchase buttons, and aggregate performance metrics — using PostHog (PostHog Inc., USA). Requests are relayed through our own servers. We do not set tracking cookies for this: the anonymous identifier lives in your browser's local storage only. We honor the Do Not Track browser setting, never tie website analytics to your account or email, and strip URL query parameters (such as order references) from collected page addresses, keeping only campaign tags like utm_*.

Deletion

You can request deletion of your Foreverse account and associated account data from the app or from the public deletion page. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or purchase accounting.
