What we collect

• Account information, such as email address, display name, login provider, and session records.
• Purchase and entitlement records needed to provide Foreverse Pro and device activation limits.
• Device information used for account security, device activation, app version, and support diagnostics.
• Content report information when you report AI-generated content for review.
• Technical logs needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.

Story content and AI providers

Foreverse is designed around local reading and story workflows. Story files, branches, characters, places, and lore live on device. When you call AI with a bring-your-own-key provider, your prompts and the relevant story context are sent to that provider so the request can be processed. Third-party providers process the request under their own policies and pricing.

• To verify purchases, restore entitlements, and enforce device limits.
• To receive and process safety reports about AI-generated content.
• To comply with legal, security, and platform requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate Foreverse, such as email delivery, hosting, payment verification, analytics, or the AI providers you choose.

YouTube API Services

Foreverse operates an internal channel-operations client for the official Foreverse YouTube channel. That client uses YouTube API Services and Google OAuth 2.0. It requests the youtube.force-ssl scope to read and manage authorized channel, video, and comment data, and the yt-analytics.readonlyscope to read authorized YouTube Analytics data. The client does not request or store your Google or YouTube password.

For this workflow, Foreverse accesses only the YouTube data needed to operate the authorized channel, such as channel identity, owned upload and video metadata and status, comments, and channel/video analytics. Approved media and metadata may also be sent to YouTube when an authorized operator chooses to upload or update a release. We use this data for channel operations, moderation, compliance, and performance reporting. We do not sell YouTube API data or use it to profile unrelated users.

OAuth credentials are kept in the authorized operator environment. Operational records may retain channel or video identifiers, metadata/status, comments, and aggregate analytics needed to manage the channel. Authorized YouTube Analytics and statistical data may be retained while the authorization remains valid, with authorization and resource availability rechecked at least every 30 days. Other stored YouTube API data is deleted or refreshed within 30 calendar days unless a shorter period is required by law or YouTube policy.

You can revoke Foreverse's access to YouTube data from your Google security settings. You can also contact [email protected] to request deletion of stored YouTube-related data. We process direct deletion requests as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days. Revoking access through Google also ends future authorized access; related stored API data is deleted as soon as possible and within the period required by YouTube policy. Deleting data stored by Foreverse does not delete content stored by YouTube; YouTube-hosted content must be deleted through YouTube or another authorized client that supports that action.

Use of the YouTube integration is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

Website analytics

On this website (foreverse.app and foreverse.cn, including the store pages) we collect anonymous usage statistics — page views, referrers, clicks on download and purchase buttons, and aggregate performance metrics — using PostHog (PostHog Inc., USA). Requests are relayed through our own servers. We do not set tracking cookies for this: the anonymous identifier lives in your browser's local storage only. We honor the Do Not Track browser setting, never tie website analytics to your account or email, and strip URL query parameters (such as order references) from collected page addresses, keeping only campaign tags like utm_*.

Deletion

You can request deletion of your Foreverse account and associated account data from the app or from the public deletion page. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or purchase accounting.
