Data export and deletion
Foreverse is designed around on-device story data. This page documents how to export your stories, where account-level data is kept, and how to delete what Foreverse stores server-side.
Where data lives
- Stories, branches, characters, and lore live on device.
- Account email, Pro entitlement, and session records live server-side.
- BYOK keys live encrypted on device.
- Support emails live in the support inbox until deletion is requested.
Exporting stories
Story export requests are currently handled through support. Include the account email, story title, and any world or branch names you need, and support will prepare the available export for that account.
Deleting an account
Use the public deletion route at /account/delete or open Settings > Account in the app. Account deletion removes account-linked records on the server. On-device story data is not synced and is removed if you uninstall the app.
Retention
Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or purchase accounting. Retention is documented in the privacy policy.
