How do I get a 腾讯混元 API key?

Register a Tencent Cloud account, complete identity verification (personal or corporate), and sign in to the console.
Open the Tencent Hunyuan console and activate the service — first activation grants the free resource pack automatically.
Create an API key under the access page and copy the sk- key. That's the OpenAI-compatible credential — not the Tencent Cloud SecretId/SecretKey pair.
Billing does not roll into postpaid on its own: enable postpaid under Settings, or calls fail with a billing error once the free pack runs dry.

Key in hand: three steps to connect

Open the app's Settings → AI models & services and find 腾讯混元 in the list (one of 62 presets, with logo and search).

The preset host is https://api.hunyuan.cloud.tencent.com/v1 (OpenAI-compatible, sk- keys). Tencent is gradually migrating Hunyuan to its TokenHub platform: existing keys keep working, but new models land on TokenHub only — a TokenHub key needs the host changed to https://tokenhub.tencentmaas.com/v1, and key and host must come from the same platform.

Does 腾讯混元 have a free tier?

Yes: first activation grants a one-time free pack (1M tokens shared across the Hunyuan a13b/role/translation/vision models, valid one year). When it runs out billing does not switch to postpaid by itself — enable it manually in settings or calls start failing.

Where does the key live once I paste it into the app?

It's stored on your device only, under system-level encryption — never uploaded or synced to any Foreverse server. Requests go straight from your phone to the provider's official endpoint with zero markup. To revoke access, delete the key in the provider's console.
