What does BYOK actually mean in Foreverse?
Bring your own provider key. You paste an API key in Settings, pick the model, and Foreverse routes your requests directly to that provider with your credentials.
Is there a hidden Foreverse proxy?
For BYOK requests, no. Your keys talk to the provider you chose. The optional official channel is separate and labelled, with credit-based billing and Foreverse routing.
How are keys stored?
Keys are stored encrypted on device. They are not synced to a third-party cloud unless you opt in. The provider page documents the full key-handling stance.
Can I switch providers per scene?
Yes. Each scene continuation, rewrite, or branch can route through a different model. The current model is shown next to every continuation it produced.
